How to Send or Receive Files from PLG
The easiest way to transfer files to PLG would be by e-mail, generally if the file size is less than 10 MB. For smaller file sizes (up to 5 MB), you may send your file(s) as an e-mail attachment. Send your attachment to info@plg-online.com.
FTP
For files larger than 5MB, we recommend you use our FTP server for file transfers. If you would like us to use your own FTP server to transfer files, please contact us with your login information.
To use PLG's FTP site, please contact us for the following login information:
- Host Name
- User ID
- Password
To connect to our FTP server, two options are available to you once you receive the FTP login information from us
- Use your web browser: To do this, in the address bar of your web browser, type in:
ftp://UserID:Password@HostName. - Use FTP software: Key in "Host Name", "User ID" and "Password" as required in the selected FTP software and hit "Connect".
Once you login to our FTP server, you can start uploading and downloading files. In most cases, it is a simple dragging between your computer’s local folders and the online FTP folders. Please note that web browser user usability may depend on your browser type and computer environment. We strongly recommend you use FTP software, which can be either downloaded for free from the Internet or purchased from a software vendor.

For PC users, we recommend the use of FILEZILLA. The software is available free of charge from http://filezilla-project.org/. The software is very user friendly and reliable, based on our experience in using it for many years.
For MAC users, a commercially available FTP software for, SmartFTP, can be purchased at http://www.smartftp.com/. We have found SmartFTP to be very user friendly. SmartFTP can be downloaded for $40 (2009 Price).

DropBox.com
Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. Please contact us for access to our DropBox folder.
Google Drive
If you have a Google account, you may be able to send us your files through Google Drive. Our Google account is "precisionlanguage" if you would like to share your files with us.
